David Baddiel charity gala to raise money for dementia charities

The comedian will perform his show, My Family: Not The Sitcom, which covers the topic of his father’s Pick’s disease, to raise money for the Unforgettable FoundationUnforgettable are extremely excited to announce that comedian and writer David Baddiel will be performing a special charity gala performance of his stand-up show, My Family: Not The Sitcom to raise money for three dementia charities, including The Unforgettable Foundation.David’s show, which among other topics, covers off his experiences of caring for his father, Colin, who has frontotemporal dementia (sometimes known as Pick’s disease), has already played to a sell-out crowd at the Meniere Chocolate Factory, and has now transferred to the West End, playing at the Vaudeville Theatre on the Strand.The show has been dubbed ‘a massively disrespectful celebration of the lives of David Baddiel’s late mother, Sarah, and dementia-ridden father, Colin. It’s a show about memory, ageing, infidelity, dysfunctional relatives, moral policing on social media, and gay cats.’
